Cold crisp Saturday.

The sun is shining and the sky is a perfect pale cerulean blue.  The hens have fresh straw, the wild birds are being fed more often than we are, and it is lovely to see a 'real winter'.

I should really visit to get some photographs of it covered in snow, but doubt if we would be able to make it to the house along the icy lanes.
